Five promises, in writing.
Fiction platforms have broken a lot of trust: rights grabs, walled gardens, sudden shutdowns with the archive held hostage. These five promises are our answer. They are not a poster — they ship in the terms of service, and they hold for every story on povesta, whatever the genre.

Your work is yours.
We take a non-exclusive license to display your work — never ownership, never an option on it, never a right of first refusal. You can publish the same story elsewhere on the same day, and you can export everything you’ve written, in open standard formats, at any time. No lock, no ransom.

Your audience is yours.
Readers decide who may reach them: leaving your address with an author is an opt-in, off by default, and it can be withdrawn. What readers have chosen to share with a writer stays with the writer — export included — so an author who leaves can take along the readers who chose them. We refuse to build a walled garden, because a platform that holds your audience hostage never has to be good.

We never train AI on your writing.
Contractual, in the terms of service — not a policy page we can quietly edit. Anti-scraping defenses are on by default. Craft tools read your draft only to advise you, never to learn from you. The stories here are written by people, and they stay that way.

Fair, published economics.
The model contract is public. The platform’s cut on author earnings sits in a published 10–15% band. There are no gag clauses: writers may say, out loud, exactly what they earn here and what we take. Terms this plain only work if we never have to hide them.

If we ever shut down, you lose nothing.
Data escrow, an export guarantee, and refunds for unspent credits. Platforms die; archives shouldn’t die with them. If povesta ever winds down, every writer walks away with their work and their audience, and every reader with their library and their balance.
